IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE OUR YEAR!
2025 prizegiving
Sunday 14th December – Upstairs at Te Pai Netball Centre, Henderson
Our annual Prize Giving is one of the happiest celebrations of our year - a joyful wrap-up of everything our Movers have learnt, achieved and loved throughout 2025. This is a relaxed, positive, family-friendly event where every single dancer is celebrated.

Venue
Te Pai Netball Centre (Upstairs)
Te Pai Place, Henderson
There may be church gatherings downstairs, so please allow a little extra time to park and get settled.
Session Times
Each session runs for 50-60 minutes max.
👉 Know your dancer’s class name so you attend the correct session.
Some dancers who take multiple levels may need to attend two sessions (sorry!) - this won’t apply to many.

Who Can Come?
ALL dancers are invited, and friends and family may attend too! It’s a wonderful celebration for our entire Studio Move community.
RSVP Is Essential
If you plan to attend, please RSVP - it only takes a moment.
Only dancers who RSVP will have their certificates, badges and awards prepared.
If you don’t RSVP and arrive anyway, we won’t have your dancer’s awards ready… and that would suck!
Can’t make it but would really, really like your awards?
Fill out the RSVP form anyway and select “cannot attend.” We’ll email you with a pickup time (likely 13–15 December) to collect certificates/awards from the studio instead.
What Happens During PrizeGiving?
Please arrive 10 minutes before your session to find parking and a seat.
Session 1 (Minis):
Dancers sit with their parents/caregivers.Sessions 2 & 3 (Juniors & Seniors):
Dancers sit together at the front.
Parents sit towards the back.
Each session includes:
A welcome
Classes called up onto the stage
Certificates & badges handed out
Teacher/dancer photos
A handful of special awards
Wrap-up and release to the Fun Zone!
A Note on Noise
Please help us keep the room calm and quiet so names can be heard and dancers can enjoy their moment. If your dancer or little one becomes noisy, please step outside briefly or help keep them settled. We like to keep our awards process quick and snappy and to do that, a focused room helps so much!
What Should You Wear?
It’s a semi-formal occasion, so dancers should wear something nice, tidy, special or a little bit fancy.
No costumes or uniforms needed.

After your session finishes, head out and enjoy:
